  Anyway my sister just told me shes getting disfellowshipped..Her story or our story rather is quite a crazy one:

  My parents were married in the 70's. My mother (young,virginal immigrant girl from Dominican Republic) met my young horny father. They were married. My mother was in love my father wasnt. I was born, 2 years later he had an affair. He got my mom preggers (my brother) and 2 weeks later got his girlfriend pregnant (my half-sister) i grew up not knowing her or my father much cuz my mother didnt trust him to take us being he had left her pregnant and all He was DF"D for 10 years came back to the borg and his wife and my sister as well. So fast forward to 2003 i DA'd and my sister and i happened to be getting better acquainted. She still lived with my dad, who for some reason decided to be real strict with her about JW issues, so she was still going to meetings and all that but her heart wasnt in it. In college she met a very nice boy who she fell in love with and i liked him alot. My dad and her mom found out she was dating a wordly boy and told her if she didnt stop dating him shed have to leave she said shed rather leave but to give her some time to set up an apt. and all that they agreed but had a change of heart and asked her leave immediately. She was out of their home for like 3 months,without a job staying with some friends. They told her to come back and try to work things out she was so desperate she went back. they mer her BF and they thougth about accepting him, but later declined cuz they couldnt stand her dating a wordly guy. But she was already back home w/out any means to move out again so they told her if she didnt wanna get kicked out again she'd have to stop dating him and talk to the elders. So she found out yesterday her "punishment" I told her to stay with me but she said she needed to be responsible for herself. Shes gonna live in puerto rico for the summer and come back to NY when she clears her head of everything. Her boyfriend is upset cuz he really wanted to be with her. Shes still planning on it but theres alot of things she needs to resolve b4 continuing a normal relationship with him.Hes such a good boy i feel so bad for both of them. My father and her mom arent bad people they just think theyre doing the right thing..The WT really know how to [edit] up peoples life (pardon my French)

  jw's can't end an engagement to marry someone.. when my teenage engagement to a jw sister ended, i was asked to state who had brought the relationship to an end because that person would be summoned to appear before a jc.. i was astonished at this infringement on a person's freedom.. here's the wt's take on this:.

  Just another form of mind control from the Borg..My friend was engaged to some guy who lived over seas who came to NY and they met and continued a long distance relationship (usually a bad idea) Then after they got engaged he found out she had lost her virginity while she was "wordly" and she was prolly like 15 which was 10 years prior to them meeting. He made a big stink about it an broke it off and she got in trouble for lying. In reality it was withholding information from him. I guess he thought that on their first date she woulda been like hmmm what a nice restaurant and nice weather,,,By the way my cherry was popped a looooong time ago..Is that ok?

  Sometimes it just doesn't matter how much you care about one another

  when certain circumstances interrupt the natural flow and growth of a relationship, it is like a flower that continues to be cut off just as it is beginning to bloom.

  the bloom is the desired result for both people, but the bush it grows on (the relationship) continues to take a beating because of the circumstances, and so it just isn't possible for the flower to reach it's fullest potential.

  sometimes there is no access to the bloom for one person because the other has erected a fence around part of the bush and the flower itself with the thought that it can protect it, but what it actually does is make it impossible for the other to nurture it and keep it alive.

  i was thinking about this yesterday and i was thinking that my state pennsylvania must have one of the highest concentration of dubs either in real numbers or per capital.

  i'm just basing this on a hunch, no data to back it up.

  also, this is where russel did get his start, kinda scary.

  Hmm..i woulda never thought hawaii cuz theyre already in paradise

  here in the city of new york theyre EVERYWHERE! there are soo many kingdom halls and because of bethel its even worse..poor brooklyn

  on the other hand there are alot more people so maybe thats why its not such a big ratio difference

  i remember we would have huge parties at the rec centers in the projects lol

  And they would start at 4 and end like at 10 so by the time 10 rolled around and me being a lover of night life would complain "whys it over so early" theyd say (usually an elder) "well havent you danced enough wordly music already"

  i moved into and how everything is going.

  she then started telling me that since things are going so well with me, and since my new apt is much closer to the hall she attends, that i should now start attending "atleast the sunday meetings mi'ja" i said ma we've had this same discussion for a year now.

  HI everyone,

  Last week i spoke to my mom (whos still a very active j-dub) about my new apt. i moved into and how everything is going. She then started telling me that since things are going so well with me, and since my new apt is much closer to the hall she attends, that i should now start attending "atleast the sunday meetings mi'ja" I said ma we've had this same discussion for a year now. I moved out of home to gain some independence, Im an adult and i should make my own decisions about what i choose to do with my life. She then stated (very dramatically) how after 23 years im an ingrate and im gonna lose all the good in my life. I said i never got when someone made the decison to diassociate themselves it automatically meant they were cursed. She said i shouldnt count my blessings if i was soo againt the organization. We debated about a few things that i found out were false and other very disturbing situations (i.e. the abuse cases, the UN association) and she took this to great and personal offense. My mom is very strict but can also be supportive fo her kids, but in this case i dont know if she'll budge since ive been calling her for the past 2 weeks and shes avoided speaking with me. I know shes ok cuz i spoke to my brother who still lives at home but i dont know what im supposed to do in order for her to stop being so judgemental, altho i know that is the essence that is the j-dubs..Any suggestions
